Longer summer days are perfect for enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset. Tonight I’m sipping on 7Cellars Wine.
I love wine with a story and 7Cellars has an interesting one! It was founded by Denver Broncos Quarterback John Elway and Jeff Sperbeck.
Part of me wants to hold on to these wines until football season!
They partnered with winemaker Rob Mondavi, Jr and released the Reserve collection starting in 2015.
The Farm collection was released in 2020 and is named after Elway’s alma mater, Stanford University, which is nicknamed “the Farm.”
This is nostalgic for me as my mom is from Palo Alto, home of Stanford University, and I have fond memories of visiting the campus.

I love that the Pinot Noir and the Chardonnay are both from Monterey County and I am also a big fan of Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon.
