Disclosures

Last Updated: December 9, 2025

Transparency and honesty are core values of Christy on the Vine. This Disclosures Page outlines how we collaborate with brands, work with affiliate programs, and share information so that you can make informed decisions when engaging with our content.

1. Sponsored Content & Paid Partnerships

Some articles, social media posts, videos, or blog features may be sponsored by brands, tourism boards, wineries, hotels, or companies. “Sponsored” means we received payment, free products, hosted travel, or another form of compensation.

We always disclose sponsored content clearly within the post. Compensation never influences our reviews or opinions. All thoughts and recommendations are our own.

2. Complimentary & Media Experiences

As part of our work in wine, travel, food, and lifestyle media, we occasionally receive complimentary products or hosted experiences such as:

  • Wine tastings
  • Hotel stays
  • Press events
  • Restaurant meals
  • Tours or travel experiences
  • Tickets or media access

When applicable, these experiences are disclosed within the related content. Receiving complimentary experiences does not guarantee a positive review.

3. Affiliate Links

Some posts contain affiliate links. This means that at no cost to you, we may earn a small commission if you click a link or make a purchase through it.

Affiliate links help support the site and allow us to continue creating free content. Prices remain the same whether you use our links or go directly to the retailer.

We only recommend products, services, or experiences we truly enjoy, use, or believe may be valuable to our audience.

4. Analytics Shared With Sponsors

As part of sponsorships or brand collaborations, we may share:

  • Website analytics
  • Social media insights
  • Engagement statistics
  • Audience demographic summaries
  • Campaign performance reports

These analytics are typically aggregated and do not include personally identifiable information unless explicitly disclosed and agreed upon.

5. Alcohol-Related Content

This website includes wine reviews, tasting notes, and alcohol-related content intended for individuals 21 years or older. We encourage responsible and legal consumption.

6. Honest Opinions Policy

Regardless of sponsorships, gifted items, hosted travel, discounts, or affiliate relationships:

  • We do not guarantee positive coverage.
  • All reviews reflect our real experiences.
  • Opinions expressed are fully our own.
  • We prioritize transparency, integrity, and honesty.

My toughest assignment yet, will I succeed? I’m re My toughest assignment yet, will I succeed? I’m returning as an official judge at @cruwinery third annual Chowder Cook-Off! #cruwinerypartner

I take my judging duties very seriously! Last year was so much fun and I’m happy they asked me to return.

If you love live cooking demonstrations, wine pairings, and chowder, then this is the event for you. There’s wine tasting and small bites while the chowder is prepared live, and then everyone gets to taste the finished chowders.

@motorluxofficial was a blast, especially with fri @motorluxofficial was a blast, especially with friends! This might have been the best year yet.

It’s always my favorite event during Monterey Car Week, because food and wine are in the spotlight - along with some absolutely amazing cars.

I also love that so many of our local wineries are at the event, and it’s a great opportunity to try new-to-me producers as well. Thank you @cruwinery for the ticket, I had so much fun!
Another @porschemonterey classic in the books and Another @porschemonterey classic in the books and I can’t believe I got to meet Sally from Cars!

This event is not only my first event for Monterey Car Week, but it’s one of my favorites - they even close Del Monte Blvd off!

@bernarduswinery came in strong with one of the largest bottles of wine I’ve ever seen - I was told it’s a Methusala which holds 6 liters of wine!

@adoberoadwines brought in a great selection of their wines, including their racing themed box set and their race car!

Cheers to the start of Car Week!
Trend or no trend, it’s always chic to make home h Trend or no trend, it’s always chic to make home happy hour into an occasion and especially when you have wines from @cruwinery. #CRUpartner

I don’t know about you, but this warmer weather has me reaching for lighter wines especially Albariño and Rosè and I’m a big fan of both of CRŪ’s.

I’ve also always enjoyed home happy hour - while I love exploring new wine bars and restaurants, sometimes the best place to connect is at home with family and friends. Plus there’s no dress code or waitlist.

Now that it’s Car Week in Monterey, I know I’m going to enjoy a glass or two of wine at home - no reservation required!

Would you go to Sparkling School? I did, and it ch Would you go to Sparkling School? I did, and it changed the way I drink sparkling wine.

Part of the @methodoregon Grand Tasting Weekend, this educational event walked us through the production process for traditional method sparkling wine and was followed by a Bubbles Block Party where we celebrated all things Oregon sparkling wine.

After seeing the behind the scenes of the production process, and then tasting vintage bubbles I have a new found appreciation for sparkling wine.

Thank you @lytlebarnett and @methodoregon for hosting us!
